
Angela Colbers
Angela Colbers studied biomedical health sciences and specialised in clinical trials (legislation and GCP) and pharmacokinetics during and after her university degree. Since 2008 she has worked at the department of Pharmacy of Radboud university medical center (Radboudumc), Nijmegen, the Netherlands. She leads the PANNA study, in which the influence of pregnancy on the exposure to antiretrovirals is investigated in several sites in Europe. In 2015, she got her PhD on “Exposure to antiretroviral agents in HIV-infected pregnant women: not too much – not too little”, for which she won the award for the best thesis in 2015 of the Radboud Institute for Health Sciences. Furthermore, the group is involved in several studies in resource limited settings. Dr. Angela Colbers is the external monitor for DolPHIN 2 and she enjoys visiting the DolPHIN 2 sites and working with the enthusiastic teams.
